Inside the A is single needle (for black cartridge) and color needles (three for colors) 

On the surface of A is the refill hole: one hole (for black cartridge) and 3 holes (for color cartridges)

Installation (as show in picture 5-6, or more detail in the manual)

Step 1: Put the empty cartridge into the ink-refill-box at the right position (picture 4)

Step 2: close the ink-refill-box (the white cover) (picture 5) 

Step 3: fit in the ink-tank, press it to its end and loose it (pay attention be caution with the corresponding colors)
